The cocoa beans in this chocolate bar come from a 500-hectare farm on the west coast of Ecuador. The farm's goal is to preserve "Arriba Nacional" cocoa, once on the verge of extinction. The black tea used to flavor this bar comes from the three best regions for tea growing in Sri Lanka. This tea is then scented, here in Canada, with bergamot essential oil. This classic blend is known as Earl Grey tea. Its addition to the chocolate enhances its flavor with beautiful floral, citrus, and black tea notes.
