The cacao beans in this bar come from Hacienda Jeanmarie, located in the northwest of Puerto Rico. Since 2010, the owners have been working to revive cacao cultivation, which had long been neglected in favor of coffee, tobacco, and sugarcane. The beans are centrally fermented from several small farms. They have a slightly fruity aroma, with notes of lime, lychee, and chocolate mousse.
